Shauna's Journey At Children's Classic
Hello!
I am so happy you stopped by, my name is Shauna Kendell. I have been with Children’s Classic since 1979 and I have been the administrator for over 25 wonderful years! I would like to be the first to welcome you to our Children’s Classic Childcare centers here in beautiful Ogden. We are happy to say it’s been 50+ years and we are still loving, caring for and teaching children.
Our schools offer several unique benefits to you and your child!
- We are safe and secure here at Children’s Classic. We have a strong security system upon entrance to our facilities as well as cameras in all the classrooms. You can rest assured that your child is safe with us.
- We offer private full-day kindergarten. Our wonderful kindergarten teachers are kind, competent and experienced. They both have been with us for 17+ years!
- We are honored to say in the last several years we have continued to receive awards such as The Caring Heart Award from the Utah State Childcare Division, high honors from Utah State Child Nutrition Program, and Top Star Awards from the local Health Department. We have been awarded many grants including Farm to Preschool where children self-master gardening and preparing produce.
- We have large playgrounds at both center locations so your children can run and play in the fresh air.
We integrate a Spanish curriculum in our preschool and pre-k classes.
We have a staff that is loyal. Many members have been with our Children’s Classic family for more than 20 years! They are committed to loving and caring for our children here!
Over the years, I have witnessed many positive things about childcare. Quality childcare can have such a unique impact on children. They learn invaluable social skills as they interact with their peers and learn day by day in a loving environment. Children’s Classic has become a home now to three generations. Many of the kids we have cared for have grown and now bring their own children to our centers. That brings us so much joy! We take pride in our childcare services and hope you will too.
